Guitar

Joey Jordison (real name Nathan Jonas Jordison) was born on the 26th April 1975 and grew up in Des Moines, Iowa.
He started playing guitar at the age of 5 and played for bands in elementary school. At age 11 his parents bought him his first drum kit.
His first *serious* band was called Avanga, with some fellow students from Waukee High. However, the band split after a car accident resulted in the death of one of the other members. Joey wasn't one to give up that easy, so he decided to start his own band, who went by the name of Modifidous. He was also part of the bands Anal Blast, and The Rejects, who would eventually become the Murderdolls.
Joey became famous as the drummer of Slipknot. He was one of the original line-up when they were known as "The Pale Ones", along with Anders, Donnie, Shawn and Paul.

Joey is well-known as one of the most amazing drummers the world has ever seen. Evidence of this can be heard in many of Slipknot's songs.
However this year he surprised a lot of people by showing that he is also an amazing guitarist!! Along with Wednesday 13 and Tripp Eisen, he began the Murderdolls earlier this year.  However, obsessive maggots who scream accusations of trying to split up Slipknot at Murderdolls signings need not panic, Joey intends to stay with Slipknot.
